From the M6 exit at junction 41 just north of Penrith. Follow the B5305 until you
reach Wigton, then turn left onto the A596 to Aspatria. Turn right
for Westnewton B5301, then left for Allonby. Bowscale Farm
is three miles on your left (the first farm on the left).

 

To avoid Carlisle city centre go to junction 42 head for Dalston, head for Thursby
follow the signs for Workington (A595/A596). Follow the A596 until you reach Aspatria.
Turn right for Westnewton B5301, then left for Allonby. Bowscale Farm
is three miles on your left (the first farm on the left).

If you have satnav, please switch it off in Westnewton and follow the instructions
above to Bowscale otherwise it will take you to Brownrigg farm. You can get
.
If you miss the turning for Westnewton follow the sign for Maryport and tune
right for Allonby.When in Allonby turn off at the bridge in the middle of the village,
onto the Westnewton road, go past Marina house then
the next farm on you right is Bowscale

Shops: The village store "Twentymans" and the village post office.
Restaurant: Baywatch Hotel, The Ship Inn, Spring Lea Leisure Centre.
Sports and Leisure: Spring Lee Leisure Centre with sauna, swimming pool,sun beds, bar and restaurant.
Supermarkets: Spar and Co-Op at Maryport.
